With the Ner300 program, more than 1.2 billion euros have been allocated to finance 23 highly innovative projects that have renewable energy as a protagonist. The money used as a source of finance is also green: it derives from the sale of 200 million emission allowances drawn from the New Entrants Reserve, as part of the Eu-Ets system.

In 2012 alone, with photovoltaics, the price of kWh dropped by over one billion euros.
